Offices to Close on Veterans Day

All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day, a national holiday that honors members of the armed forces who gave their lives, time and effort in the defense of this country.
Although post offices will be closed, San Diego residents will be able to receive special delivery and express-mail services.
Schools will close, as will most banks. Courts will not be in session.
Trash collectors employed by the city will make their rounds a day late all week, and metered parking throughout the City of San Diego will not be enforced Monday.
Crews will be available to deal with emergencies relating to water and sewer service.
