Entertainer Sammy Davis Jr., who underwent hip surgery Nov. 11, left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on crutches with his wife, Altovise, at his side, a hospital spokeswoman said. Davis, who will be 60 on Dec. 18, is expected to recover in four to six weeks, hospital spokeswoman Paula Correia said. Davis injured his left hip during filming of the made-for-television movie “Alice in Wonderland.”
