Westwood : Alzheimer’s Clinic Opens

An Alzheimer’s disease and memory disorders center has opened at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.
“The center allows patients to obtain psychiatric, neuropsychological, neurological and geriatric medicine evaluations in one central place,” said Dr. Daniel A. Plotkin, assistant clinical professor and director of the new center.
Alzheimer’s disease is a disorder of the brain that causes memory loss and mental deterioration.
