BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Kings (5-13-1) will play another struggling hockey team tonight when they face the Minnesota North Stars at the Met Center.
The North Stars (4-10-5) have won only once in their last 11 games, while compiling a 1-7-3 record. Minnesota Coach Lorne Henning had benched right wing Brian Bellows for two games before he returned for Thursday night’s 4-2 loss to St. Louis.
Center Neal Broten has been playing well for the North Stars, getting 11 goals and 15 assists in 19 games. Rookie goalie Jon Casey, who was just called up from the minors, is expected to start his first game tonight.
