San Diego police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old San Diego man found shot Sunday night in a car in Logan Heights.
Armando Pena Arellano was found shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday in a car parked in the 2700 block of Clay Avenue. He was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he died of several gunshot wounds to the chest and back, according to Deputy Coroner William Leard.
Leard said Arellano lived with his mother in the 3100 block of Webster Avenue.
Police found Arellano after a tip from an anonymous caller.
