I’m rather disappointed that Roger Hedgecock got such a light sentence and fine. He was barely slapped on the hand.
Now radio, and he’s still calling himself “Mayor Roger Hedgecock.” He has made San Diego and his people look a little bit ridiculous. Why doesn’t he just go to another state and work on another radio station, where he’s doing “an extension of some of the things I was doing as mayor?”
Former Mayor Hedgecock is a little caught up in his own success. He was our mayor, and he just shoved us aside and concentrated on saving his hide at the expense of San Diego. I’m embarrassed for him.
I’m not so sure how stable and secure Hedgecock is to be starting off with calls from listeners? Are KSDO ratings going to fall or increase?
