The American League has given the Chicago White Sox a deadline for moving out of 75-year-old Comiskey Park because the baseball stadium is too costly. The date was not announced.
Eddie Reinsdorf, who bought the White Sox in 1981, has been trying to find a new place for the team. Chicago officials have proposed a new $125 million South Side stadium to keep the White Sox in town, and Reinsdorf’s Balcor Co. owns property in suburban Addison.
