General Dynamics earned $383.3 million on sales of $8.1 billion in 1985, down from $381.7 million on sales of $7.5 billion in 1984. Excluding the results of the discontinued Quincy Shipyard, General Dynamics would have earned $372.5 million in 1985, up from $352.9 in 1984. The 1985 results also include the operations of Cessna Aircraft for November and December.
