CSUN-Pepperdine Game Postponed

Cal State Northridge and Pepperdine have postponed a nonconference baseball game scheduled for today due to bad field conditions caused by rain.
CSUN Coach Terry Craven said that an effort will be made to reschedule the game.
“We will try to make up every game we can with other local schools,” Craven said. “Just about all the teams are in the same situation with their fields. We took all the water off ours today, and it’s covered again already.”
Craven said that CSUN’s game against Santa Clara, scheduled for Sunday at home, will probably also be postponed.
The Matadors’ Feb. 8 game with UC San Diego, which was not played because of rain, will not be rescheduled.
The Northridge softball team has rescheduled its game with Nevada Las Vegas for Feb. 22. The teams were suppose to play a nonconference game today at noon.
