A Korean conglomerate may buy control of Zymos.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based chip maker said it and Intermedics, which currently owns 47% of Zymos, have entered into a letter of intent with Daewoo Corp. of Seoul, South Korea, for Daewoo to obtain controlling interest in Zymos. A definitive agreement is expected by April 14.
