Olajuwon’s Injury Not Serious; He Should Miss Only 2 Weeks

HOUSTON — Houston Rocket center Akeem Olajuwon has been diagnosed as having a strained ligament in his right knee, and will be out of action for probably two weeks, team officials said Monday.
The 7-foot Olajuwon was injured Saturday night against the Clippers at the Sports Arena. Teammate Robert Reid inadvertently hit Olajuwon’s knee from the side when he fell.
