GTI Corp. reported a loss of $679,000 for the year ended Dec. 31 on revenue of $19.4 million, compared to earnings of $410,000 on revenues of $25.7 million. A $341,000 fourth-quarter loss includes about $400,000 in pretax write-downs for inventory and machinery linked with products lines that GTI either cut back or restructured. The after-tax impact was about $275,000, the company said.
