L.A. Doctor for Olympic Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Los Angeles doctor today was named head physician for the U.S. Olympic team for the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea, the U.S. Olympic Committee announced.
Dr. James Puffer is the chief of the division of family medicine at UCLA, said George Miller, USOC secretary general, in making the announcement here. Puffer was a physician for the U.S. Olympic Team at the 1984 Olympic Winter Games in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, and at the National Sports Festival in 1979 and 1982.
