An excavation firm under contract to the Southern California Gas Co. unearthed a human skeleton while replacing a gas main in the 3900 Block of Edgehill Drive, authorities said. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has not yet determined the age or sex of the person, or how long the skeleton was buried. “They are skeletal remains of a human, but we won’t know anything more about them until we have our anthropologist look at them,” said coroner’s spokesman Bob Dambacher.
