A bomb explosion tore through the baggage section of a first-class car on a French express train traveling from Paris to Lyon, injuring at least 10 people, three of them seriously. Police said the blast occurred shortly after 3 p.m. between Yerres and Brunoy, about eight miles southeast of Paris. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
