You’ve got to be very quick to catch all the comings and goings in Hollywood.
Like the two-day stay at United Artists by a Columbia exec, who came back to Columbia so fast that some colleagues didn’t know she’d left.
Lyndsey Posner was Columbia VP biz affairs. Then she went to UA as VP biz affairs. Then back to Columbia within the week as senior VP biz affairs.
It was so expeditious that one of the trade papers ran an item about her promotion at Columbia . . . without reference to the two missing days.
Posner didn’t want to discuss the matter: “It’s history. I’m surprised you consider it a newsworthy item.”
But the Guinness folks may be interested.
