Merlin Olsen returns to the weekly series lineup as star of a new family comedy, “Fathers and Sons,” premiering Sunday on NBC (7-7:30 p.m.). He portrays a father who coaches his son’s various little league teams. Jason Late plays his son, a reluctant athlete who is nudged into competition by his father’s love of sports.
