LA JOLLA PLAYHOUSE SEASON OPENS JUNE 1

The La Jolla Playhouse will open its 1986 season June 1 with the world premiere of a jazz musical by the late Julian (Cannonball) Adderly and his brother Nat Adderley, called “Shout Up a Morning,” based on the legend of John Henry.
Leilani Jones, Charlaine Woodard and Michael Edward Stevens will be in the cast, directed by Des McAnuff.
