SIX ARTISTS EARN INSTITUTE AWARDS

NEW YORK — The American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters announced awards of $5,000 each to four painters--Pat Adams, Gregory Botts, Lois Dodd and Paul Georges--and sculptor Lowell Reiland.
In addition, painter Richard Ryan will receive the Richard and Hilda Rosenthal Foundation Award of $5,000 for a “younger American painter of distinction who has not been accorded due recognition.”
