When this whole country is having a helluva time getting the stickum out of its eyes, ears, hair and everywhere from America’s Sweethearts, what does reviewer Jean Vallely expect of the 30-odd-year-older who is their daughter? She’s probably scared stiff. She looks it.
At least she tried. Now, all together, let’s get behind her: Ronald Reagan is a “B” movie actor without substance or other redeeming value, and coming to grips with him is like a nightmare of entanglement with a vast, wet, slippery wall of bubble gum. But if we don’t do it, we’re going to wind up a “B” country.
