UC Irvine’s Rhorer Eliminated at Ojai

UC Irvine’s Stephanie Rhorer was eliminated by Cal’s Sharon Fletcher Friday, 6-0, 4-6, 6-2, in the Ojai Invitational tennis tournament at Ojai.
The Anteaters’ Haruko Shigekawa and the doubles team of Shigekawa and Dina Trenwith were also eliminated.
In the community college division, Mike Boice of Saddleback upset Orange Coast’s Chris Ganz, 6-4, 6-3, to advance to today’s quarterfinal round. Ganz was the undefeated singles champion of the South Coast Conference with a 14-0 record.
