Wilderness Experience, a Chatsworth maker of outdoor gear, said Stanley G. Dreyfuss, 69, resigned as a director of the company last month after two years on the board. Dreyfuss, a retired businessman, was unavailable for comment. His wife, Elaine, said he had no ill feelings toward Wilderness Experience and merely felt it was time for someone else to take over. Dreyfuss was replaced by Eugene Froelich, 44, a management consultant.
Wilderness Experience still has two vacancies on its board, one of which stems from the recent departure of James Donini, who was both a director and a leading salesman for the company. Donini left both positions to accept a post with Patagonia, a competing firm.
