A 37-year-old Julian man was found dead Thursday morning after a car accident that apparently happened Wednesday night on California S2, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Charles Elbert Ramey was found dead near his sedan about 7:15 a.m. about three miles south of California 78, coroner’s deputies said.
Ramey apparently lost control of the car about 9 p.m. Wednesday and crossed from the southbound to the northbound lane, CHP officials said. The car overturned and Ramey was apparently crushed under the vehicle. He was found by a motorist Thursday.
