Two Anaheim men were reported in stable condition at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana, after a dispute left one with stab wounds and the other with gunshot wounds, police said.
Police said they were called to Santiago Canyon Road between Orange Park Boulevard and Loma Avenue at 4:40 p.m. Saturday and found Florentino Peralta Najera, 37, the victim of a stabbing, and Rafael Antonio Orellana, 44, the victim of gunshot wounds.
“An argument between the two men over a domestic situation escalated with Orellana stabbing Najera, and Najera shooting Orellana with a handgun,” Sgt. Mike Skogh said.
Skogh said he had no further details about the incident but added that the department’s violent crime detail has been asked to investigate further.
