A Gardena dentist, accused of killing a man to keep him from testifying against him, was convicted of first-degree murder by a Torrance Superior Court jury. The panel, which deliberated less than two days, will reconvene Thursday to decide whether to recommend a death sentence for Dr. Michael Myron Olson, 44.
