Local News in Brief : Chairman of Burbank Planning Board Quits
- Share via
The chairman of the Burbank Planning Board resigned Thursday, saying he could not devote enough time to the appointive position because of business obligations.
Graham Ritchie, a real estate executive in an insurance company, told city officials in a letter that out-of town assignments keep him from devoting adequate time to the five-member board. He had served on the board for five years.
The board deals with parking restrictions and zoning changes.
Vice Chairman Paul Downing will replace Ritchie at the next meeting of the board May 28. Next month, the board is scheduled to elect new officers.
