Theater Chain Opens Screens in Two More Cities

American Multi-Cinema Inc. continues its major expansion program with the opening of the Rolling Hills 6 Theatres in Torrance and the Milpitas 10 Theatres in Milpitas, north of San Jose.
The two new California complexes, along with three other locations with a total of 20 screens will bring the firm’s total screen count worldwide to 1,022. The concern is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMC Entertainment Inc., Los Angeles.
