The Oakland A’s traded pitcher Keith Atherton to the Minnesota Twins for a player to be named later and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Atherton, who reported to the Twins Tuesday night in Boston, was 1-2 with a 5.87 earned-run average in 13 relief appearances for Oakland.
