Fluor Corp. said Wednesday that Sino Fluor Engineers, a joint venture between Fluor and China’s Sinopec, had been awarded a $3-million contract by China Petrochemical International Co. The company will perform basic engineering for construction of gas storage facilities in Daqing, China. Work on the project will begin in May and is scheduled for completion in September.
