Gov. George Deukmejian’s reelection campaign reported raising $714,911 in contributions over the last two months, bringing total receipts to more than $8 million since the start of last year. The campaign committee said it paid out $1,125,606--most of it for TV and radio advertising and administrative overhead--during the same March 18 to May 17 reporting period. The committee had almost $5 million in cash on hand.
