Hussein Visits France

PARIS — Jordan’s King Hussein, on a tour of three Western nations, flew to France on Monday and met with Premier Jacques Chirac for talks on the Middle East. Hussein is also expected to inquire about a French weapons system he is interested in acquiring to tighten Jordan’s air defenses. France is the Middle East’s main arms supplier.
