South Coast Plaza has announced that it has its first non-department store tenant for the mall now under construction across from the main plaza.
North Face, a Berkeley-based outdoor sporting equipment manufacturer and retailer, plans to open a 5,600-square-foot store on the third level of the center, near The Broadway. Robinson’s will anchor the other end of the mall.
This will be North Face’s first location in Southern California.
South Coast Plaza also announced that it has signed leases with four tenants that will move into the former Nordstrom store space. Crate & Barrel, an upscale home accessories store, will occupy 15,000 square feet; Perkins Shearer, a men’s and women’s clothing retailer, will operate a two-level store occupying 7,600 square feet.
South Coast Plaza announced some time ago that Louis Vuitton, the French luggage and handbag maker, will open a 1,300-square-foot store.
