I would like to extend my appreciation...

I would like to extend my appreciation to the networks for their coverage of Independence Day activities. Today, the Fourth of July is becoming just another day off. We seem to forget the sacrifices of our ancestors that have made our strong nation possible. I urge the networks to present some of the old film classics that are characteristic of our great American heritage. At Christmas time some station usually presents “Miracle on 34th Street” and “A Christmas Carol.” I feel the networks should air some of our old patriotic favorites on the Fourth of July.
