Lawyer Jailed, Fined

Century City lawyer Michael Gottsegen was sentenced Monday to four months in prison and fined $2,000 for delivering $400,000 in counterfeit bills to an associate who was to sell the fake money to Las Vegas buyers.
The buyers turned out to be Secret Service agents. U.S. District Judge Ferdinand Fernandez actually sentenced the 36-year-old Gottsegen to a two-year term, but suspended 20 months. Gottsegen was ordered to spend three years on probation after his release.
