Coast Guard officials have suspended their search for a racing sailboat crew member who fell off the boat 12 miles east of Anacapa Island near Oxnard. The 38-year-old crew member, who has not been identified, was washed overboard while setting riggings on the 27-foot sailboat, which was involved in a race from Santa Barbara to King Harbor in Redondo Beach. Coast Guard officials said the crew member was not wearing a life jacket.
