2 Quakes Hit Aleutian Isle

ADAK, Alaska — Two moderate earthquakes, aftershocks of a major tremor in May, rattled this Aleutian island early Sunday, but no injuries or damage were reported, a geophysicist said. The quakes, measuring 5.6 and 5.1 on the Richter scale, were centered about 70 miles south of Adak, said John Sindorf of the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.
