The Buffalo Bills are prepared to offer quarterback Jim Kelly a five-year contract worth $7.5 million, the Buffalo News said.
The paper said Kelly has asked for $10 million over five years to play for the Bills. Either figure would make the former U.S. Football League quarterback the highest-paid pro football player of all time, ahead of San Francisco quarterback Joe Montana, who earns an annual salary of $1.3 million.
