Net Income Up 122% in First Quarter for CIMCO

CIMCO, a Costa Mesa-based custom injection molding firm, said net income during its fiscal 1987 first quarter ended July 31, rose 122% to $496,685 from $224,000. Revenues during the three months increased 46.6% to $8.5 million from $5.8 million.
Lester Beauvais, vice president of manufacturing, said the strong earnings increase resulted primarily from extensive plant automation which permitted CIMCO to service additional customers without hiring more employees.
