Archeologists in Titusville, Fla., discovered two 7,000- to 8,000-year-old human skulls containing brain tissue and said they appear to be the best-preserved specimens yet taken from a burial pond there. One of the skulls was believed to be that of a woman in her 40s. Nine other skulls with brains preserved under the moist, air-tight muck have been found at the site in the last two years.
