Louisville, Duke Will Open TV Schedule

NEW YORK — The defending national champion Louisville Cardinals will open NBC’s 22-game, 1986-87 college basketball schedule by playing host to the East Regional runner-up DePaul Blue Demons Saturday, Dec. 13.
Among four appearances by Denny Crum’s Cardinals will be a Jan. 31 matchup against Kansas, Big Eight Conference winner and Midwest Regional champion.
Throughout its regular season coverage, NBC will feature representatives from the Big Ten, Southwest, Southeastern, Pacific 10, Big Eight, Metro, Sun Belt, Atlantic 10 and Missouri Valley conferences.
