Dodd and Hovland Win Pro Volleyball

SAN FRANCISCO — Tim Hovland and Mike Dodd teamed to collect their fourth victory Sunday, winning the $20,000 Miller Lite pro beach volleyball tournament at Ocean Beach.
Hovland, of Playa Del Rey, and Dodd, of Manhattan Beach, rolled to a 15-3 final-game victory over John Hanley of Santa Barbara and Leif Hanson of Laguna Beach.
The winners, who last week wrapped up their second pro beach volleyball championship in two years, split $7,000 for the victory.
