A Huntington Park man was convicted of violating a new state law aimed at people who sell illicit drugs from fortified “rock houses.” Samuel Thomas Green, 43, was found guilty of utilizing a building designed to prevent law enforcement entry in order to sell or possess for sale any amount of cocaine, heroin or PCP. Green was arrested April 10 in a heavily fortified rock house in Huntington Park. Norwalk Superior Court Judge Reuben Ortega ordered him to return Oct. 20 for sentencing. District attorney’s spokesman Al Albergate said the conviction may be the first under the new law.
