Huntington Beach : Car Being Pushed Hits Boy, 6, on Skateboard

A 6-year-old boy riding a skateboard was seriously injured when he was hit by a car being pushed out of a driveway, police reported Saturday.
Bryan Presall rode into the driveway on Birdie Lane as the car was being pushed out at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sgt. Robert Moran said. The boy was taken to Fountain Valley Community Hospital.
He suffered multiple injuries and at first was listed as critical. But a nursing supervisor at the hospital said Saturday that his condition had been upgraded to serious but stable.
Moran said no one was cited in the accident.
