Northridge Women Extend Win Streak at CSLA’s Expense

The Cal State Northridge women’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to 14 matches Friday, defeating Cal State Los Angeles in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. match at CSUN, 15-4, 12-15, 15-3, 15-3.
Sue Darcey led CSUN with 14 kills and outside hitter Anna Garcia added four service aces.
Northridge (15-1, 2-0 in conference), which has won three straight CCAA championships, is ranked No. 1 in the nation in the Tachikara Division II coaches’ poll.
Northridge hasn’t lost since a Sept. 9 setback to Loyola Marymount. Cal State L.A. is 0-1.
