U.S.-Soviet Daniloff Trade
I don’t understand why the media are making such a big fuss about Reagan saying that there was no trade for Daniloff and that the meeting between him and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev at Iceland is not a summit.
It seems to me that Reagan has been quite consistent. He calls the MX missile the “Peacekeeper” and tells us that there is peace through strength. He insists on drug tests, regardless of the concept of innocent until proven guilty and invasion of privacy. Any day now I expect him to tell us that hate is love. Just what’s the big fuss?
