AGING WELL

“Entertainment Tonight” makes a big deal of trumpeting the ages of the famous on its regular celebrity birthday calendar (some recent revelations: Mark Hamill 33, Brigitte Bardot 52, Shaun Cassidy 28, Gregg Morris 52, William Paley 85). But, whaddya know--the ages of the “ET” stars never seem to turn up on the list.
So we asked.
“I don’t know if I can get the ages of all of them,” said publicist Susan Roth. How come? “They’re stars, too. You know how stars are--they consider that personal.”
But fair’s fair, we said.
To our surprise, Roth came back with: Mary Hart, 35 on Nov. 8; Robb Weller, 37 on Sept. 27; Leeza Gibbons, 30 next March 26, and John Tesh, 34 Sept. 9.
We hoped to include graying Barbara Howar, but she was “hard to reach,” Roth said. (We found out that Howar’s 52.)
Outtakes certainly has no qualms about revealing its ages: 36, 55, 41, 32, 30, 37, 46, 30. . . .
