A woman struck by a car as she was crossing Harbor Boulevard at Hazard Avenue in Santa Ana on Friday night remained hospitalized in critical condition Saturday, police said.
Guillerma Correa, 40, of Santa Ana was in the crosswalk when she was hit by a car at about 10:30 p.m., Police Lt. David Salazar said.
Correa suffered head, body, and leg injuries and was taken by paramedics to the Fountain Valley Community Hospital, Salazar said.
The driver of the car was not cited or held, Salazar said. He had the green light, Salazar said, and “there was nothing to indicate he was driving under the influence.”
