Sockers Set to Play Cincinnati Exhibition

CINCINNATI — The San Diego Sockers, defending champions of the Major Indoor Soccer League, are to play the Chicago Sting in an exhibition game Oct. 28 at Riverfront Coliseum.
San Diego has won five consecutive professional indoor soccer championships.
The exhibition is being sponsored by the Kroeger Co., a Cincinnati-based grocery retailer.
