What’s behind the apparent “get ‘The Colbys’ ” plot? There’s been much publicity regarding the program’s poor ratings and now its time-slot conflict with “Knots Landing.” A majority of us seniors love both shows--”The Colbys” for its glamour and how-the-other-half-lives aspect, and “Knots Landing” for its excellent plot, splendid acting and believable characters. We do not go for the shoot-’em-up crime, talk and strident music shows. How about switching “Knots Landing” back to its 10 p.m. time slot on Thursdays and putting “Kay O’Brien” (ho hum!) at 9 p.m.? That would make us all happy again.
