Starting center Blair Bush of the Seattle Seahawks underwent major knee surgery and will be lost for the remainder of the season, but Coach Chuck Knox said he expects the nine-year veteran will be able to resume his NFL career.
Bush, a former first-round draft choice from Palos Verdes High School and the University of Washington, was injured in Seattle’s 17-12 victory over the New York Giants in the Kingdome Sunday.
Bush, 29, has been the Seahawks’ starting center since he arrived in Seattle in 1983.
